EXAMPLES

I am big (Yo soy grande). I am 10 years old! (yo tengo 10 años de edad )
They are Egyptian (Ellos son Egipcios). They are from Egypt (Ellos son de Egipto)

REMEMBER

I am big. = yo soy grande.
You are my friend. = Tú eres mi amigo
My mum is a doctor. = Mi mamá es una doctora
We are doctors. = Nosotros somos doctores
They are Egyptian. = Ellos son Egipcios

BE CAREFUL!

For negatives add ‘not’, (en las oraciones negativas se añade "not")

.The negative of 'I am' is 'I'm not' or 'I am not'.

I’m not 9 years old! ( Yo no tengo 9 años)
I am not 9 years old!
They're not English. (Ellos no son Ingleses)
They aren't English.
They are not English.
She is not a teacher. (Ella no es una profesora)
She’s not a teacher.
She isn't a teacher.
